Paso Robles – one of California’s most prominent wine countries and the backdrop to a most beloved event for wine lovers alike: The 34th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival. The event will take place from Thursday, May 19th to Sunday, May 22nd. As the area is nestled in the perfect climate for producing some of the world’s top wines between San Francisco and Los Angeles, Paso Robles has 200 wineries that are largely boutique and small family-owned vineyards. There are over 32,000 vineyard acres, producing more than 40 wine grape varieties - from Spanish to Italian, Bordeaux to Rhône, including the area's heritage variety Zinfandel. The styles of wine are diverse in this very distinct region, and many of these wineries will be celebrated during the annual festival.
Thursday, May 19th:
- Winemaker dinners: Thomas Hill Organics and Cello Ristorante & Bar at Allegretto Vineyard Resort will be kicking off the festival with fantastic dining and an opportunity to meet several participating winemakers.
Friday, May 20th:
- The RESERVE Event: Select wineries feature their library, reserve, white/rosé, and futures paired with local dishes
Saturday, May 21st:
