The Christmastime events and galore continue in historic, downtown Paso Robles this season with the 30th Annual Downtown Lighting Ceremony and the 55th Annual Christmas Light Parade.
The 30th Annual Downtown Lighting Ceremony will be this Friday, November 25th at 5:30 p.m. Gather at the Paso Robles Downtown City Park to watch the entire downtown illuminate with Christmas lights and holiday activities.
Mrs. Claus will arrive at 6:00 p.m. to light the town and launch the celebrations. There will be live music, candlelight caroling, free hot chocolate, and delicious cookies. Take the opportunity to seek the perfect Christmas gift and stocking stuffers for loved ones at the area’s quintessential boutiques and antique shops.
The festivities carry on into the following week on Saturday, December 3rd when the 55th Annual Christmas Light Parade strolls through downtown Paso Robles. Local businesses will be sharing holiday cheer along to this year’s parade’s theme of “The Music and Magic of Christmas.”
Marvel with childlike wonder and take in the sights, sounds, and joys of the season. And later on, watch the events unfold, as awards will be given for the best displays. To top it all off, like any spectacular Christmas Light Parade, expect special appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
The Paso Robles Main Street Association hosts both Annual Downtown Lighting Ceremony and the Annual Christmas Light Parade, as the organization commits itself to creating a community in downtown Paso Robles, which is a commercial, cultural, entertainment, and governmental hub for the city.
