Known as the “biggest little fair around,” the twelve-day California Mid-State Fair will kick off on Tuesday, July 19th and rock on until Sunday, July 31st at the Paso Robles Event Center. Expect the extravaganza to offer lots of live entertainment, competitions, art displays, demonstrations, equestrian shows, a carnival, and more!

Experience the winnings of the Central Coast Wine Competition, as the gold medal victors’ wines will be showcased at this fair in addition to seven others in the state. Find out who makes the best apple pie in the area... Or better yet: Bring your own cherished apple pie to the 9th annual apple pie baking contest on Tuesday, July 26th before 5 p.m. Keep your eye out for all of these events and so many more during the twelve-day stretch.

If transportation and/or parking is a concern, fear no more. The California Mid-State Fair has partnered with American Star Trailways and SLO Safe Ride to offer guests opportunities to catch a ride from San Luis Obispo to the event.
