The Central Coast is known for its local, organic food and wine. On Saturday, August 6th, FARMstead Ed intends to celebrate just that at their Central Coast Beef & Wine Festival, taking place at Halter Ranch Vineyard in Paso Robles.
The San Luis Obispo County Cattle Women will be hosting the event with a special focus on their motto of “graze, sip, and learn” to invite the community to understand the quality of natural products by experiencing. The festival celebrates the local ranches and producers who make not only high quality beef, but also high quality wine. This dual combination can only be enjoyed in Central California.
Guests can taste their way through the Halter Ranch barnyard with samplings of beef prepared in a variety of ways by famous RFD-TV cooking celebrities, Billy & Sue of Cowboy Flavor. In between samplings, pair and sip on wine from many local producers. The festival will also feature BBQ masters and hosts who will be sharing expert advice on prepping, cooking, and health precautions for creating your own fine beef dish at home.
Harris Ranch will be providing the event’s fresh beef and Cowboy Flavor will be dishing out their BBQ. The many wine offerings have been produced by Ancient Peaks Winery, B&E Vineyard, Bridlewood Estate Winery, Cass Vineyard & Winery, Halter Ranch Vineyard, Jack Creek Cellars, La Panza Ranch, Ranchita Canyon Vineyard, Seven Oxen Estate Wines, and Vintage Cowboy Winery.
Throughout the festival, enjoy music by local Paso Robles artist, Shelly Cargill.
The profits from the festival will benefit Must! Charities and the San Luis Obispo Cattle Women. Purchase tickets for the event online. FARMstead Ed is a project that promotes locally grown and made food products by hosting pop-up events that bring people directly to the farms, ranches, and production facilities where the delicious food is being created.
