Sculpterra Winery and Sculpture Garden blends all of Paso Robles’ richest gems together in one beautiful sanctuary. The elaborate garden enhances Paso Robles’ already top-notch wine experience by offering a location flourished by its art and natural beauty. The Sculpterra vineyards lie in the hills of the scenic Linne Valley.
The sculpture works of renowned John Jagger can be viewed while strolling through the magnificent grounds. From the immaculate 10-foot bronze “Mermaid” rising from the fountain, to the 20,000 pound granite “Puma,” and the 16-foot bronze “Dancing Horse,” viewers can study and be in awe of Jagger’s deep interest for the underwater world, domestic and wild cats, and horses. Guests will also be greeted by Jagger’s miniature series of sculptures when they enter Sculpterra’s Central Park West, the estate’s tasting room.
Now, John Jagger has left his role as Sculpterra’s sculptor in 2013, and the local, brilliant Dale Evers has taken over the reins for continuing to blossom the grounds with sculpted majesty. Evers is always seeking innovation. His latest works include stainless steel and glass “Flying Fish” and the grand piece of the “Dragonfly on Cattail.”
