The San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum is a fun place for exploration the entire family is sure to enjoy. The museum is perfect for a day visit filled with excitement or making the venue a place to return to each week by participating in one of its programs. As soon as children step inside the doors, they will not be bored!
The museum boasts three floors with various activities and events. The second and third floors particularly interest children that ages 6 and younger. There, they will find a pendulum that is also a swing, equipped for kids that age-range to play on. Another highlight is the museum’s miniature city where children will allow their imaginations to thrive.
“This place is always fun! It is a great place for kids to explore, pretend, and create. They can cook in the play kitchen, drive the fire engine, paint, play doctor, dig dinosaur bones, or star in their own play on the stage. With 3 stories to check out it is hours of fun. Adults should keep in mind that most parking around the museum is metered... so bring quarters. We usually play at the museums, have lunch nearby, and then go back for a little more afternoon playing,” said Kristine S. on a TripAdvisor.com review.
