About 2 year(s) ago by Allegretto Vineyard Resort by Ayres

The ninth annual Cambria Scarecrow Festival is a community-wide event featuring a public display of scarecrows partaking in activities from bowling to flying. This impressive spectacle is made possible by the ingenuity and hard works of local students, residents, and businesses. Make sure you visit one of the events at this year’s festival and revel in this amazing presentation to help get you in the fall spirit.

Salute to Scarecrows! Gala Kickoff

At this event you will get to stroll through a scarecrow-decorated garden in the cool, autumn weather, enjoy appetizers and wine by the glass, listen to wonderful musical performances, partake in a silent auction, and find out which scarecrows won at this year’s festival. The event will be held at the Cambria Nursery on Thursday, October 5th at 5:30pm.

A Progressively Cheesy Wine Tasting Event

Experience an afternoon filled with wine, gourmet mac n’ cheese, and of course, scarecrows! You will travel the wine trail and sample a delicious mac n’ cheese creatively paired with a wine at each winery. The wineries for this event include: Black Hand Cellars, Cayucos Cellars, Harmony Cellars, Moonstone Cellars, Stolo Family Vineyards, and Twin Coyotes Winery. The event will be held at the Cambria Nursery on Sunday, October 8th at 12:00pm.

The money raised during this race will be allocated towards the Cambria Youth Athletic Association (CYAA). Furthermore, all participants are encouraged to dress up as scarecrows! The event will be held at Pinedorado Grounds on Saturday, October 21st at 8:30am.
